Our Client, a groundbreaking leader in the BioTech industry, is seeking an FP&A Manager to join their Hybrid FP&A team. This position is responsible for spearheading reporting, budgeting, and forecasting cycles, supporting functional operating expense budgets, and leading planning and consolidation efforts.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Drive Budgeting, Forecasting, and Long-Range Financial Planning cycles, creating presentation materials.
• Lead forecast and planning submissions, ensuring system alignment.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages, covering P&L, Revenue, GP, SG&A, Headcount, A/R, and Inventory.
• Execute monthly close processes, including accrual and JE bookings.
• Offer support to business partners, encompassing functional reporting, analytics, and PO management.
• Design, enhance, and implement budget and planning processes in alignment with Global FP&A.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial procedures, leveraging advanced technologies such as SAP, Adaptive Insights, and Workday.
• Shape and influence the business to achieve financial commitments and objectives.
• Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis support for initiatives and projects.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, with a preference for a CPA/MBA or other graduate degree.
• A minimum of 4 years of progressive operational finance experience.
• Experience with Adaptive Insights (must have), SAP experience a plus
• Strong grasp of generally accepted accounting principles (US GAAP and IFRS).
• Proven track record in designing and leading best-in-class FP&A processes, especially budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Effective communication and presentation skills to convey complex financial insights clearly to executive leadership.
• Progressive, forward-thinking mindset with an ability to navigate ambiguity and tenacity to drive results.
• Proficiency in utilizing advanced analysis tools for timely, accurate, and insightful forecasting, and familiarity with the latest digital trends in FP&A.
• Background in various financial or operational roles where best-in-class practices were employed to optimize business outcomes.
• A collaborative team player with an ownership mentality who is unafraid to get hands-on and exhibit diplomatic, intuitive, and mature presence, particularly in a fast-paced environment.
