My client are a niche IAM consultancy seeking a highly skilled and experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Consultant to join their growing team. You will play a crucial role in helping their clients secure their digital assets and manage user access effectively. Working closely with their clients to understand their IAM needs, design solutions, and implement IAM strategies that align with their business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to define IAM strategies and architectures that meet their specific needs.
• Design, plan, and implement IAM solutions based on industry best practices and standards.
• Execute IAM projects, which may include the deployment of Identity Providers, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and more.
• Integrate IAM solutions with existing client systems and applications.
• Develop and implement processes for user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access recertification.
• Ensure efficient management of user accounts throughout the identity lifecycle.
• Assess and enhance security measures related to IAM systems to protect against unauthorized access.
• Assist clients in meeting compliance requirements, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and other industry-specific regulations.
• Establish and manage access control policies, entitlement reviews, and access request workflows.
• Monitor and report on user access, providing recommendations for improvements.
• Address and resolve IAM-related issues and provide support to clients when needed.
• Conduct system audits and recommend security enhancements.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as an IAM Consultant or similar role, with a strong understanding of IAM concepts and technologies.
• Expertise in IAM solutions, such as CyberArk, Okta, Ping Identity, SailPoint, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of security protocols and standards, including OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or vendor-specific IAM certifications, are a plus.
• Fluent in English and German
