Senior FP&A Analyst – $100-125K – Bridgewater, NJ (Hybrid)
Our Client, a global leader in the Energy space, is seeking an experienced Senior FP&A Analyst with expertise in Workday Adaptive Planningto join their team. You will play a pivotal role in providing insightful analysis and strategic guidance to senior leadership teams. You will leverage your financial expertise, business acumen, and proficiency in Workday Adaptive Planning to analyze performance, drive decision-making, and ensure the integrity of financial reporting. Responsibilities:
- Analyze business segment performance, ensuring accuracy and usefulness of analysis.
- Conduct in-depth data modeling and analysis to identify key drivers and provide actionable insights.
- Partner with business stakeholders to develop and validate budgets and forecasts using Workday Adaptive Planning.
- Prepare and present meaningful presentations for senior management review.
- Analyze monthly volume, sales, cost, price, mix, and profitability results, comparing and analyzing to plan and prior year levels.
- Monitor product inventory levels and costs to ensure proper valuation.
- Drive revenue and CAPEX internal orders to completion, ensuring timely recognition of revenues and capitalization of assets.
- Take ownership of data quality issues and drive process improvements as needed.
- Lead monthly meetings with business partners.
- Develop annual budgets and advise on impact to strategy and outlooks.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of financial experience with a focus on delivering financial results, forecasts, plans, and strategy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in Workday Adaptive Planning, with a strong understanding of system configuration, data modeling, and report development.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial concepts and insights to diverse audiences.
- SQL and SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio) a plus.
