Senior NetSuite Consultant-(Finance/Accounting, Advanced Revenue Management, SuiteBilling)

Role Overview:

As a Senior NetSuite Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with clients, understand their unique financial processes, and design tailored solutions using NetSuite’s Advanced Revenue Management and SuiteBilling modules. Your expertise in finance and accounting will be essential in providing insights, best practices, and guidance on financial reporting, revenue recognition, billing, and overall financial management within the NetSuite ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Process Analysis: Work closely with clients to understand their existing financial and accounting processes and identify areas for improvement and automation within NetSuite.
• Solution Design and Implementation: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of NetSuite’s Advanced Revenue Management and SuiteBilling functionalities to design and implement robust financial management and billing solutions that align with clients’ business requirements.
• Revenue Recognition Compliance: Ensure clients’ revenue recognition practices adhere to relevant accounting standards (such as ASC 606/IFRS 15) by configuring NetSuite’s Advanced Revenue Management module appropriately.
• Billing Management: Design and implement billing processes and workflows using NetSuite’s SuiteBilling module to optimize billing accuracy, streamline invoicing, and enhance revenue collection.
• Integration and Data Migration: Collaborate with technical teams to oversee data migrations, integrations, and system upgrades to ensure seamless transitions and data integrity.
• Training and Support: Provide comprehensive training to end-users and assist in resolving any post-implementation issues or questions related to the financial modules.
• Best Practices and Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and updates related to financial management, revenue recognition, and billing processes within NetSuite.
• Project Management: Lead and participate in project planning, scope definition, resource allocation, and timeline management to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Proven track record of at least 3-4 years in implementing and configuring NetSuite’s financial modules, particularly Advanced Revenue Management and SuiteBilling.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, revenue recognition standards (ASC 606/IFRS 15), and billing processes.
• Certification in NetSuite (SuiteFoundation, SuiteBilling, and/or Advanced Revenue Management) is highly desirable.
• Experience working with clients from various industries, understanding their unique needs, and translating them into effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.
