Position Overview: Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Senior NetSuite Developer to join their dynamic NetSuite Consultancy team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing tailored NetSuite solutions for their diverse client base. The Senior NetSuite Developer will leverage their expertise in 3rd party integrations, SuiteScript, and potentially SuiteAnalytics to deliver high-quality solutions that optimize the clients’ business processes. NetSuite Certifications are a significant bonus for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and clients, to gather and translate business requirements into effective NetSuite solutions.
• Design and implement customizations, enhancements, and integrations within the NetSuite platform to meet clients’ unique needs and objectives.
• Develop SuiteScripts (SuiteScript 1.0 and 2.0) for custom scripting and automation of business processes.
• Utilize SuiteFlow and SuiteBuilder to configure workflows, forms, and custom fields as required.
• Lead the integration efforts with third-party applications, systems, and APIs, ensuring seamless data exchange and system interoperability.
• Collaborate closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to NetSuite configurations, customizations, and integrations, ensuring optimal system performance.
• Stay up-to-date with NetSuite best practices, updates, and new features to continuously enhance the quality and efficiency of solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to the overall growth and knowledge-sharing within the NetSuite development team.
• Keep accurate documentation of customizations, configurations, and development processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven track record of at least 5 years of hands-on NetSuite development experience within a consultancy or similar setting.
• Extensive experience with SuiteScript development (both 1.0 and 2.0) for creating custom scripts, workflows, and automation.
• Strong expertise in integrating NetSuite with third-party systems and APIs, ensuring smooth data flow and system interoperability.
• Familiarity with SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, and SuiteAnalytics is highly desirable.
• NetSuite Certifications (e.g., SuiteFoundation, SuiteCloud Developer Certification) are a significant bonus.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and other relevant programming languages.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, project teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions within specified timelines.
• Experience in leading and mentoring junior developers is a plus.
